ARD is the largest public broadcaster in the world.

ARD can be likened to an amalgamation of PBS for its content and CNN for its audience coverage. 

 

Since June 2018, Marissa Sumathipala  has been featured in an ARD documentary production on the US education system. She was selected to feature the educational outcomes of a high achieving high school student attending a suburban US public school with coverage on Sumathipala's contributions to scientific research and academics.

ARD will aired this documentary in October 2018.
